Today was Jordan's 11th birthday! Each year I am amazed at how fast time goes and how fast our little babies grow up. I look at him and still see that little 6 pounder I brought home from the hospital...and I have no idea what I ever did with myself before he arrived! But looking at him today, I am excited and proud to see the young man he is becoming. It makes me certain that I must be doing something right!Birthdays always make me think about all the memories over the years. Here are some of the funny things that come to mind when I think about Jordan as a little boy..."Garbage" was "bowders"
........................................................................................................................................................................
"Another one" was "sow zown"
........................................................................................................................................................................
"Slippers" was "fi fips"
........................................................................................................................................................................
He would never stand under the fan at Grandma's house because he was afraid it would fall on him.
........................................................................................................................................................................
One day he said to me..."Mom, you're getting old, we're gonna have to get a new mom."
........................................................................................................................................................................
As he watched the neighbors dog do his duty in their back yard, he asked, "Do monsters poop on the grass, too?"
........................................................................................................................................................................
When he noticed that part of a tampon didn't quite make it down the toilet, he said, "Mom, there's a whistle in the toilet!"

We celebrated his birthday with family and friends this past Saturday, I've included some pictures from the festivities, including one with his Godmother, Auntie Sarah. (which, by the way he could say at 10 months!) Two of his buddies slept over, and they didn't even keep us awake all night!
Happy Birthday, Jordan!!
